Classroom Visitor

We had an exciting visitor in our classroom yesterday!  Mr. Newton, a cartographer, came to talk to the students about his job.  He brought along with him a map of North America that he had drawn.  He worked with the students to help them label the major bodies of water, countries, and states.  The students made a lot of progress and did a wonderful job!  We will continue to work on completing our maps in class.
